Breaking update for readers and bargain hunters in New Milford: the Friends of the New Milford Public Library have officially confirmed that their 2024 Annual Summer Book Sale will be the last one held for at least two years due to the library’s upcoming construction.
The sale takes place July 11–13, 2024, at New Milford High School, and organizers are urging the community not to delay—because there won’t be another opportunity until 2027 at the earliest.
Confirmed 2024 Schedule:
- Thursday, July 11: Early Bird Hour (9–10 a.m.) – $5 admission | Free entry from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, July 12: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday, July 13: Final Day – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with all books half price!
